Ken Norris - whether it's chanting in rap or toasting in dancehall, he knows his way around both genres. He has also been involved in fusion productions and musicals. A jack-of-all-trades in jazz with a magnificent, multi-faceted voice. The charismatic American has often performed with HfMT professor Gabriel Coburger - a saxophonist who has not only enriched the Hamburg scene for decades but has also played with a number of US stars. In 2007, he was the first winner of the Hamburg Jazz Prize. Working with the young HfMT big band led by Wolf Kerschek, the two experienced jazz cats have put together a dazzling song package.
