CANSU ARAT GROUP

Jazz standards - sometimes traditional, sometimes modern, but always interpreted in a very unique way – this characterizes the sound cosmos of the Cansu Arat Group. The quintet, which features Hedwig Janko on alto saxophone, Kirill Kretsu on piano, Melanie Streitmatter on bass and Jacob Wagener on drums alongside its namesake on vocals, attaches great importance to interplay that emphasizes the individual timbres of the players.
