Accessibility

We do our best to make ELBJAZZ as easy as possible for everyone to enjoy. With the exception of MS Stubnitz, all the ELBJAZZ venues offer barrier-free accessibility. To move between the Blohm + Voss site and the venues clustered around the Elbphilharmonie, we recommend the use of the bus shuttle since these vehicles – unlike the boats – are accessible for those with disabilities and can be lowered. There are disabled toilets on the festival site at Blohm + Voss, in front of and in the Elbphilharmonie, and in St. Katharinen Church.

Guests with the “B” mark in their disabled person’s pass can bring an accompanying person with them to ELBJAZZ for free. When this pass and the ticket are presented at the ticket desk, the accompanying person will also be given a festival wristband.

If you are a wheelchair user or have the “severe disability pass” (Merkzeichen B) and would like to attend a concert in the Elbphilharmonie, during the booking process please select the concert you want to attend, and then contact us on the following email address, stating your booking number: barrierefrei@elbjazz.de. You will then receive further information on how to exchange the vouchers for an Elbphilharmonie ticket.

If you have any suggestions or questions, you can contact us on this email address at any time: barrierefrei@elbjazz.de
