24,000 VISITORS ENJOYED ELBJAZZ 2022 IN THE PORT OF HAMBURG

The two-day ELBJAZZ festival came to a successful close last Saturday (4 June) as one of the first major cultural events with live audiences. Advance booking for ELBJAZZ 2023 on 9 + 10 June has already begun with an Early Bird offer.

ELBJAZZ ANNOUNCES SCHEDULE AND ALL VENUES

The musical programme for ELBJAZZ on 3 and 4 June 2022 will be presented on six different stages, located south of the Elbe on the Blohm+Voss shipyard site, and north of the Elbe in the HafenCity.

ELBJAZZ 2022: LINE-UP WITH 44 ACTS COMPLETE

The entire ELBJAZZ programme on 3 and 4 June 2022 is now complete. Dates and supporting programme confirmed. The musical line-up includes a total of 44 international acts that can be experienced live on the festival Friday and Saturday.

ELBJAZZ CONFIRMS 23 ACTS FOR FESTIVAL ON 3 + 4 JUNE 2022

Reservation for the concerts in the Elbphilharmonie (Grand Hall) starts today. ELBJAZZ is back with a large number of confirmed artists for this year: 23 international acts including Melody Gardot and John McLaughlin with his all-star band The 4th Dimension.

Concerts in the ARTE stream played especially for the digital festival – with The Notwist, Nils Landgren Funk Unit, China Moses, Wendy McNeill, Masaa and others. Virtual programme in addition to the digital ELBJAZZ.

The dates have been set for next year’s ELBJAZZ: 4 and 5 June 2021 – amongst others with The Notwist, Moka Efti Orchestra and China Moses. Solutions for 2020 ticket holders available. Presale 2021 starts on 6 June 2020.

ELBJAZZ 2020 CANCELLED DUE TO CORONA PANDEMIC

Due to the ongoing Corona pandemic, and based on the General Ruling by the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, which has prohibited large-scale events until 31 August 2020, ELBJAZZ must be cancelled.

SOUL DIVA CHINA MOSES AND FOUR OTHER FEMALE ARTISTS HAVE BEEN ADDED TO THE LINE-UP

Five female artists, China Moses, Hannah Epperson, Nicole Atkins, Dominique Fils-Aimé and Wendy McNeill, have been added to the music programme, with a stylistic spectrum that ranges from jazz and soul to indie-pop, rock ‘n’ roll and folk.

BADBADNOTGOOD TO PLAY AN EXCLUSIVE FESTIVAL SHOW AT ELBJAZZ

As far as live gigs are concerned, the Canadian quartet BadBadNotGood have made only rare appearances in the past. The band last played in Hamburg three years ago. At this year’s ELBJAZZ, they will play an exclusive festival show.
