GETTING TO ELBJAZZ
We recommend using public transport. Your festival ticket entitles you to travel to and from the festival on the day/days your ticket is valid using the HVV public transport network (ticket includes one round trip, including express bus, valid until 06.00 the following day).
Please note: Festival ticket holders who will be attending one of the Elbphilharmonie concerts on Thursday, 31 May 2018, are also entitled to use their festival ticket to travel with the HVV public transport network – but only on 1 and/or 2 June 2018.
It is possible to walk the distance between the Blohm+Voss shipyard and the second festival centre around the Elbphilharmonie – the route will take you through the Alter Elbtunnel (see the location map). There is also a shuttlebus that runs between all ELBJAZZ venues. Shuttle bus stops are clearly indicated by bus stop signs.
▶ Elbphilharmonie/HfMT Young Talents (HVV bus stop: Am Kaiserkai (Elbphilharmonie))
▶ Hauptkirche St. Katharinen (HVV bus stop: Singapurstrasse)
▶ MS Stubnitz (Mobile bus stop at Kakaospeicher)
▶ S-Bahnhof Veddel (HVV bus stop: S- Veddel (West))
▶ Blohm+Voss (Mobile bus stop at the main entrance to Blohm+Voss)
A shuttle service by boat (limited capacity) runs between the Sandtorhöft and Steinwerder (Fähre) landings.
If visitor traffic is high, there may be queues. When this happens, our guides on location and the ELBJAZZ mobile app will provide updates on the fastest way for festivalgoers to get to their desired destinations.
