Instrument Workshop for Kids
Jazz stands for freedom. And for getting carried away every once in a while, for misbehaving, for being crazy and creative. In this workshop the spotlight is on the instruments that are most often used in jazz. From the double bass to the vibraphone, children can get to know the essential instruments of the genre here. And because giving it a go yourself is always more fun than just listening, all the instruments can be played – under the guidance of professionals, of course. Not only will they explain the function and playing techniques, they will also encourage musical improvisations. How well the group harmonises will become clear in the joint music-making session at the end. To take part, please register by 3 June (5pm) by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Minimum age: 8 years, registration of accompanying persons also required.
